Survivor-centred support in Uganda
Survivor-centred support in Uganda
Ending sexual violence takes collective effort.
We partner with individuals and organisations who want to strengthen prevention, support survivors, and improve access to justice.
There are different ways to support our work; through funding, fundraising, institutional partnership, or practical contributions that strengthen how we respond.
Support specific areas of our work, from emergency care to prevention and case follow-up; through direct funding or sustained support.
Run a campaign, mobilise your network, or organise community fundraising to support our work.
Collaborate with us as an NGO, foundation, school, or institution to strengthen prevention, healing, and justice systems.
Support through technical expertise, training, legal support, or essential supplies that strengthen how we respond to cases.
In practical terms, partnership contributes to emergency medical care, ongoing psychosocial support, and advocacy for stronger systems that respond to sexual violence.
Survivors receive urgent, life-saving medical care after abuse.
This includes treatment to prevent HIV and unwanted pregnancy within the critical 72-hour window, as well as care for sexually transmitted infections and injuries resulting from the abuse.
These tools support both medical care and the documentation needed to pursue justice.
This includes a secure, supportive space where survivors can step away from harm, rest, and begin healing—alongside accommodation, basic needs, and ongoing care for up to 90 days.
This includes awareness in schools and villages, engagement with local leaders, and strengthening coordination between service providers to protect survivors and prevent future harm.
